I'm Just One Person!*

There comes a point in every semester where I realize that there are 4 weeks left and I have done absolutely nothing. This is the stuff nightmares are made of.**

Last night, I decided it was time to take action. Rather than putting Richard to bed and enjoying some trashy TV, I opened up my laptop and a bottle of wine (okay, okay. A box.) The plan was to work until I was too drunk to be productive.

After 3 glasses of wine, the thought of composing 50 Power Point slides, writing 50 pages and 5 lectures, and creating an entire summer undergraduate course on game theory sounds so much less daunting. Unfortunately, I only got through about 12 slides before the lure of 16 & Pregnant proved to be too strong. Oh well. It's a step in the right direction.

** Literally. I have a regularly recurring nightmare that I show up to a final exam only to realize that I haven't been to class for the entire semester. Or that I just found out that I never actually got my Bachelor's degree because of a Spanish class I was supposed to take but never did.
